Troop 731 Recent News.

There are several different news areas that need to be known about in our troop.   On this page I will have a brief list of the Events and Web Changes.  I have just recently added the Moon Phases!!!

These events where information gathered at the PLC on Monday, August 23.

These events are posted as what the webmaster understands.  Do not blame the the webmaster for incorrect dates and or times.  These are waiting to be verified by the SPL

August 24, 1999

I have updated the web page.  I have been getting set for school for the past few weeks.  I am extending the contest.  They will end on September 15, 1999!!   I need your help.  I am not asking much.  Best of all, you can get your own updated customized version of Netscape and IE 5.0!!!!

Custom Netscape!!!

I have received permission to created a customized version of Netscape Communicator 4.61!!  It will be tailored to our troop.  It will be released sometime Mid-August!!  But I need your help.  I need a few logos.  The winner of the contests will be the first one to receive the version!!  Click here to see the guidelines for the graphics and bookmarks.

The BDSR Photo Gallery has been republished.  It contains the original photos that Mr.Daniels had submitted, Plus four more from Chris.  The download page actually has things that you can download.   There are a few programs, a bunch of forms, and a few .zip files of the photo galleries.  Before you visit the download page or photo gallery please read this first.

July 20, 1999

First page of the Boundary Waters photo gallery published.  There is a little bit of information regarding what all happened.   If you are one of the people that went I would like for you to submit something on the trip.

I had a little trouble with the server the other day when I was publishing the web page.  If you know of a good place to host the web page please email me.  I am starting to look at a pay site.  I have a plan to make it pay for it self, put people will have to help out a bit.  One I find out weather or not it really works, I will submit it along with a web host to the troop committee.

This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

NEW LOOK!  I got the program that I had to work correctly.  This will make the web site more user friendly and more useful.  I have a few ideas for some of the pages.  Some pages will be in this format (the links to the left), and others will have a frames version (see the ranks page).  I would like to here your input on which one you like better, and why.  Please send the mail to pageformat@bsa.troop731.8m.com.   Thanks.

Recent Media Coverage of Boy Scout Troop 731

If you here something in the news or read it in the news papers please tell me.   If possible, make a copy or give me the article at the troop meetings.  You may also type it up and send it to me as an e-mail or attachment.  If you send it to me as an attachments send it as a Microsoft Word 97 document, Corel WordPerfect 7.0 document, or just plain text file.
